Managing a site hosted elsewhere

My company’s website is hosted by the marketing company that developed the site, and we’ve been managing the content via Pagelime. I’ve had it with Pagelime and would like to try WordPress, but it’s not clear how I can access the content and modify it via WordPress. I can view the site, but not edit it, and I see no place to enter the ftp info to publish back to the host. I have the free account just to try it out if that makes a difference. …Thanks!

We provide support only for sites hosted by wordpress.COM and no others. That site is not hosted here and we cannot help you.
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.
