Managing access of multiple sites granted by different people

Hi, my email is associated with this specific domain, and it is the one that comes up when I sign in to WordPress. I was also given admin rights to a different page transhumanity.net . Thirdly, I have permissions to write for transhumanist-party.org .

I downloaded the WordPress app in the hopes that I could finally find a way to switch between three sites that are all linked to my email, but I can only see uplift.bio there.

I kind of imagined I could go to WordPress and select any of these sites to write/post for and switch between, but from what I can tell I need to log into each one separately, even though they all have the same email.

I’m sure I’m missing something- can somebody please help a guy out?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,
The websites which you mentioned are transhumanity.net, transhumanist-party.org, uplift.bio. All these three website are hosted in elsewhere rather than WordPress.com

However, if you would like to manage all the sites from a single platform, WordPress.com is the best choice for you.
Know more about the benefits from here https://jetpack.com/2016/04/28/benefits-of-jetpack-manage/
    https://wordpress.com/support/jetpack/

For that, you’ll have to install the Jetpack plugin and activate them with the same account you are using for WordPress.com at all three different websites.

If you have installed the Jetpack plugin at all the sites, they will automatically appear in your WordPress.com account.
You can know more about the jetpack plugin from here https://jetpack.com/support/plugin-management/

Let us know if you have more queries.
    Thanks.

    Hi there,

When you say “WordPress app”, are you speaking of the mobile or the desktop app?

The desktop app works through a connection to a WordPress.com account only, so if you want to use that to manage your self-hosted sites, you’ll need to use the Jetpack plugin to connect each of those sites to your account as @mohammadriyad explained above.

To install a plugin you’d need to have admin rights on the site, so that might not be an option if you only have an author-role on https://transhumanist-party.org/

If you’re using a mobile app then you don’t need Jetpack – as long as you have XML-RPC enabled on the sites, you can connect each site directly to the app. However, in the mobile app it’s also simpler to use Jetpack, as then you only need to log in once using your WordPress.com account credentials, and all sites connected to your account will be listed there automatically.

To connect a site to the mobile app without using Jetpack, select the option to add a new site, and select Self-hosted site. Then log in using your login credentials for your user account on the specific site.
