Managing blog, Balasana theme

  I’m using a separate ‘Blog’ page. I want to retain only the four latest blogs on the page, and with each new blog, flick other older blogs somewhere, retaining only their Title with a link to the actual (old) blog. What is the best way to do this?

  You can use the Blog Post block and adjust the number of posts displayed in that page.

  I have followed the above instructions. The only thing I’m not happy about is that the blog posts I’ve chosen to show …. the block only shows the Excerpt. Is it possible to show the whole post (within this type of block)?

  The blog posts block cannot be used to display full posts, no.

  If you want to display full posts, the only way to do that is to designate the Blog page as your posts page, in which case it will display all posts on your site with the most recent always appearing first.
