managing links/blogroll -Order of appearance

    i have a widget on the left of links to different sites/etc.
    When I go into “Edit links” category I am able to rank the various links in the order I would like them to appear 1 thru 6.
    I hit “apply” or “filter” and in my Edit Screen I can see them in the order I would like them to appear…
    yet it does not save in this order and on my blog the links are still showing up in order by name.

    Please Help!
