Managing loooong pages
-
I’m not sure how to handle a page I’m doing. It will be a very long list of books I’ve read. I know I can do a bunch of individual posts or pages and then, using a first page, just link to each successive one at the bottom of the first. But I am still wondering about exactly how that will look.
Can I make an unlimited number of pages? And can I hide some (all but the first) but link to them so that they can be seen via the links (only)? If I can do that, then I guess it doesn’t matter whether I make posts or pages for those I want to hide but link to so that they can be seen when using the links. Correct?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello there,
You could use next page pagination http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/nextpage/ -
I was wondering about that. That’s a solution, perhaps, if I can control where to put the ‘next’ page break. I think I’ll just experiment. I really can’t visualize how this will work. I’ll return and ask for help if I need it.
Thanks!

Oh this is fun. I added the nextpage (same as more?) code. I clicked on it hoping to go to a blank page that I could continue my list on. It just gave me the same page I was on.

Okay. I see how I can use this. It’s all one page. I wish it wasn’t, but that’s okay. It will look good to readers. I just inserted the code before my (current) last entry and it split the page there, making 2 pages. Nice and neat. Thanks again Timethief.
