Managing my DNS zones

  Actually what I really need is help with how to manage your DNS zones.

  I have aweb design person helping me migrate to a wordpress.org blog. I have enhanced wordpress.com site and I need to take my domain name with me. When I try and pruchase it from godaddy it is already taken (by wordpress.com, I’m assuming) I need to take my domain to the new site.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  If you’ve registered your domain through WordPress.com and now want it to point to a blog or website hosted elsewhere then you can do this by updating the nameservers.

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domain-management/#update-nameservers

  What about if you want to change the A Record and the CNAME?
