Managing sites

    I was trying to make a blog account for a friend and ended up adding a site on to my own. I want to delete that site as it has no use but am worried if I delete it I will end up deleting my own blog account. I am not quite sure what to do! Please help.

    Hello,
    You have a few options: transfer the site to another account, make it private, or delete it.

    You could hold onto the site by making it private. That way if you or your friend decide later you want it back, you’ll have it. To make the site private, go to Settings > Reading and tick the box next to “I would like my site to be private, visible only to myself and users I choose”. Then click “Save Changes” at the bottom.

    If you’d rather delete the site, go to Tools > Delete Site. Note that this action is permanent. You and your friend won’t be able to use the domain ever again. Make sure the confirmations and warning messages list the proper blog and not the one you want to keep. More info: https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/
