Mandatory switching my current hosting account to get Premium?

From what I understand after looking at the info on the front page of WordPress.com is that it offers a web hosting service as well as other benefits like no ads.

I already have hosting and a decade old website/domain name at Godaddy.com. I am trying to turn my 1000+page website written by hand in html/css a few years back into a “responsive” site which basically means that I’ll have to redo the whole thing possibly with WordPress.

Do I have to dump godaddy.co in order to purchase the premium service if I so choose and be hosted by wordpress.com? I am considering buying the $99 service with no ads and wondering if I have to transfer over my entire godaddy account..

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Yes. The upgrade bundles available only for blogs hosted by wordpress.com are found at https://store.wordpress.com/plans/

But you need to be keenly aware of these differences as there are restrictions and limitations on wordpress.com blogs https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

You cannot import any made made sites. You must have an XML file of the site content to import it into a wordpress.com hosted blog https://en.support.wordpress.com/import/

Edit: made made was meant to be hand made

Domain Mapping (included in the $99.-/yr package) will turn your blog here to show your custom domain name – however the custom domain name will need to be registered not with WordPress.COM as they are not set up to accept incoming domain name transfers
