Manual addition of subscriptions

  I understand how subscriptions work but I could not find how to set up a way for me to initially add subscriptions myself manually. I want to limit who has access to the blog initially before I open it to the public.

  I’m sorry but that’s not possible nor is importing a file possible. You can enable blog subscriptions and your subscribers can choose how frequently they wish to receive notifications of your new posts emailed to them. see also: blog subscription widget
