Manual counter for wordpress.com account

  I’m brand new to WordPress but I’ve searched through the forums and haven’t found an answer to the following question: Is there a manual counter available for wordpress.com? I’m looking for something similar to the Jellyfish counter widget, seen here: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/jellyfish-counter-widget/

  I want to be able to count the number of times I make a mistake and track it at the top of the page. To be clear, I don’t want a hit or visitor tracker/counter.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  The answer is probably “no”. WordPress.com is really aimed at the masses and not the custom user. While super useful for those who need it, it’s the type of feature that doesn’t have a huge number of people clamoring for it (the plugin you linked to has only been downloaded 400 times or so).
