Manual order customer payment page not working

    I’ve used this feature on and off since launching my site when customers e.g. phone through an order. I have not had any problems with it before, other than having to manually send the customer the link to the payment page (because that is not included in the email they receive from the system).

    However when I created an order a couple of days ago and clicked on the customer payment page so I could send the link to the customer, it took me to my website with the following error message:

    No Results Found
    The page you requested could not be found. Try refining your search, or use the navigation above to locate the post.

    I’ve checked and the site is running the current version of WordPress, and all the plugins are up to date.

    Anyone got a solution to this problem? I am pretty close to chucking WordPress in the bin – it has become so clunky.

  • Hi Elizabeth,

    Of what site are you speaking? WordPress.com does not come with any “ordering” feature, manual or otherwise, built in. You also mention plugins being up to date, but the only way to use plugins on WordPress.com is via our Business Plan, and you only own three free sites with us, none of which appear to have been active for several years.

    If you’re speaking of a site using WordPress at another hosting provider, then please instead contact support for the specific ecommerce plugin you’re using, as they’ll be best able to help you with this.

    Hi – sorry I got confused about where I had to post my question and ended up here when I should have been on the woocommerce plugin support forum. Sadly there is no way for me to delete my post so here it is stuck.

  • No problem. You can find the WooCommerce forum at https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce/, or if you have a paid add-on from WooCommerce.com, you can also reach them at https://woocommerce.com/contact-us/

    We don’t delete forum threads unless it’s a security issue, but this information might help someone down the line looking for help with the same issue.
