Manually adding a follower

  Is there a way to MANUALLY add a blog follower since they didn’t receive a confirmation email?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi,

  There isn’t a way to manually add a follower without them clicking the confirmation link in their email. Can you have them contact support directly to find out why they aren’t receiving the confirmation email? They can email help@wordpress.com.

  Thank you for answering :) They didn’t receive it in their inbox or in spam so there’s no way they would know why. I’m just hoping it’s not a common issue. I wouldn’t want to lose followers for this reason.

  I hope it’s not a common issue either! I’ll keep my eyes peeled for more reports just in case.

  If they contact us, we’ll be able to help them get this sorted out.

  Thanks, Jeremey :) Actually, once I realized she was on WordPress, I told her to follow that way, with the follow button on the upper left in the navigation bar, so at least she was able to follow :)
