Manually Deleting Referral Sites?

  I’ve had a lot of issues with spam site referrals lately, and looking at the forums I realize I’m not the only one. I know WordPress is working on it, and I know how to handle it etc. But I was thinking, wouldn’t it be nice be able as a blogger to delete/block the ones that slip through, wich would also help us to keep our site stats accurate?

  I don’t know, it was just a thought that came to me :)

  Sent the same message to Customer Support last week after bothering them multiple times each day for the past month with requests to block spam referrers. Easy fix, right? Let us block sites!

  It’d be useful if there was one click to report/hide them. Just like Akismet.

  It’s not as easy as you may think at all. Blocking and filtering are no as easy as you may think at all. How would you, as an individual blogger on this multi-user blogging platform be able to employ any such “blocking”? Please read here. >
