Manually Importing

    Hello,

    I was *thrilled* to be able to import my old Posterous blog into my new WordPress blog. I thought it was gone forever.

    Regarding connecting images with their respective posts…

    From Known Issues section:

    ‘Images, videos, and audio can no longer be imported automatically. These items should exist in the export zip file from Posterous and can still be uploaded manually to your site.’

    How exactly do we upload the exported-from-Posterous zip file to our site? Can we do it as a batch upload keeping all links intact…or do we literally have to re-link each image to each post one by one?
