Many spam comments on one post

  In the last day or so heaps of spam has been slipping past Akismet on this post. In there something I could do to fix it, or maybe contact the Akismet people? Thanks.

  In my experience it happens when you have one pre-existing spam comment approved on the post, but lately, that’s not the case. I think they’re just hitting popular posts now and I don’t think there’s anything youc an do about it.

  Except (at this point) continue to mark the comments as spam.

  I have also had them carpet bomb a picture or a Post that has NO comments on them – sometimes it will be a Post / image that is over a year old –

  Not to mention attachment pages. Yikes. Especially old attachment pages…

  It was just one post, so I disabled comments for it. Hopefully it will work…
