Map a domain
-
I purchased a domain url and want to map it to my blog. Why am I being charged $99? I thought it was $13.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi @limsuad,
In order to map your domain, you need to have an upgraded plan.
The Personal Plan is the cheapest option to map your purchased domain. That costs $35.88 annually. You had better add the Personal Plan in order to map your domain unless you prefer the Premium Plan which costs $99 annually.
If you have further questions, please let me know. Thanks :)

Yes, it changed.
The support staff mentioned about this in this topic. Please refer to it.
Thanks :)

Last question. So I upgraded and mapped my domain. My custom domain forwards to my blog. Is there any way to keep my custom name visible in the url field? It’s reverting to the long, ugly wordpress url?
So I see http://easylikesundaymorningdotco.wordpress.com/
but would like to see mu custom domain – easylikesundaymorning.co -

→Your custom domain is easylikesundaymorning.co right? Once you perform mapping domain, easylikesundaymorning.co is shown in the URL field instead of WordPress.com address.
Even now, when I click on http://easylikesundaymorningdotco.wordpress.com/, it redirects to https://easylikesundaymorning.co/.

I’m sorry if I misunderstand about your question. But if you are not sure about anything, please let me know again.
Thanks :)
