Map a domain

    Hi,

    I own a domain and want to map my blog to this domain. I had already paid for this service on Jan 2018, but canceled it last night. But, I was expecting to have the mapping service up to Jan 2019. But it seems it is removed from my account! Can you please investigate this?

    Also, when I tried to add my domain using the mapping, I got a $120 invoice, instead of $17! Can you please let me know why is that? I don’t want premium account. Just need to map my domain.

    Hey there,

    The Domain Mapping option is no longer available as a standalone purchase. If you wish to map your domain to WordPress.com site, you will require an upgraded plan. For more information on this please refer to the following document: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

    If you cancel a subscription it is removed from your account immediately, since it is also outside of the refund period, no compensation for the remaining months of service is offered.
