Map my domain with WordPress.com Premium.

  I currently own a domain name, say, mysite.com, which I registered with a third party registrar, and I am paying $10/year to keep it alive.

  Now, I try to map my domain with WordPress.com Premium. After the transfer, do I still need to pay the third part registrar to keep the domain registered, OR, my payment to the WordPress.com Premium will automatically cover it?

  Yes, you’d still need to pay your registrar, since the registration is still through them. It’s not possible to transfer that to us at the moment.
