Map WordPress Domain to different WordPress site

  Intending to start a completely new wordpress site with a new domain, I accidentally did the following:
  1. On my existing wordpress site (Site A), I created a new domain through the wordpress ‘get domain’ function.
  2. I started a second wordpress site (Site B).
  3. I realized that the new domain I just created was intended for Site B, not Site A.

  Is there a way to switch which wordpress site a domain applies to? Or do I need to cancel the new domain on Site A and reacquire it through Site B?

  In the site that has the domain you wish to transfer, go to Store > My Upgrades. Click the “Transfer to another site” link and follow the instructions. If you don’t see that link, click the gear icon next to the domain to make it (and other links) visible.
