  I would like GoDaddy to host the website but Wodpress to be the platform we use to navigate through the site, about us, contact us, our prodcuts, etc. can you tell me if MAP YOUR DOMAIN WITHOUT MOVING IT FROM YOUR CURRENT REGISTRAR is the correct option. Thank you

  It is NOT the correct option. WordPress.com is a hosting company. If you already have a web host, you do not use WordPress.com. You want the free version, WordPress.org.

  Here’s the difference- https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  Mapping means hosting your site on these servers, and you want to choose that if you don’t already have a host.
