Maping a domain name

  I have a domain names already and want to map to my free wordpress.com account however when I go into my account it will only allow me to map if I upgrade to Premium?
  When I originally registered with WordPress I thought there was the option to map to the free plan for an annual fee of $12?
  Please advise.

  Still no luck – to use my current domain name only gives me the option to upgrade to Premium.

  Also “drop a line to wordpress.com” is not recognized
