mapkit embed iframe not working

  I am having issues embedding my mapkit.io map. When I put the iframe code into the HTML editor, the Visual editor shows the map properly, but when loading the post after updating, the area where the map embed should be only has the hyperlink of the embed source link.

  WordPress.com strips out certain html for security reasons, including iframes.

  I’m not sure if this would suit your needs, but if you use a standard Google Maps iframe, WordPress will convert it to a shortcode so it can be used:

  thanks for the link, but I really would like to see if it is possible to embed the link from mapkit (custom google map). They do offer an oembed code as well, but i remember reading that the oembeds are whitelisted via wordpress. I unfortunately do not know/understand if there is a code that I can apply to the oembed in order to request it to be on the whitelist. or if this page even applies to wordpress.com blogs
