Mapped Domain but getting an advertising page!

    I mapped my domain http://www.pagablog.com to my wordpress domain mypaga.wordpress.com. I changed my DNS on goDaddy. When I go to the URL I get an advertising holding page. Similar to what you get when you just signed up for a URL. I did a trace route and the URL is definitely pointing to wordpress.com.

    Any ideas? Would appreciate any help

    It takes 24-72 hours for a DNS change to propagate through all the internet name servers around the world, and until that propagation is complete, your site will be sort of unstable. Typically it takes around 24 hours or less. There isn’t anything anyone can do about this. It just takes some time.

    Just give it a little time and things will switch over and stabilize.
