Mapped Domain Isn't Working – GoDaddy

    We own bttg.ca and would like that to be our primary domain for our blog @bttgblog.

    Domain is registered with GoDaddy.

    We have added 3 nameserver records:

    Host Points To TTL Actions
    @ ns1.wordpress.com 1/2 Hour
    @ ns2.wordpress.com 1/2 Hour
    @ ns3.wordpress.com 1/2 Hour

    We’ve waited several days and then made bttg.ca our primary domain on WordPress’ Domain manager.

    However, someone clicks there and we just get a page stating that the site is ‘parked’ with GoDaddy.

    Do we need new A-Records? If so, what IP do we point to?

    What are we missing?

    Hello Adam & Nicole,
    When I visited bttg.ca, I was taken to bttgblog.wordpress.com. You mentioned having set bttg.ca as your primary domain, but that doesn’t seem to have taken effect. Try going through these steps again: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/#setting-the-primary-domain

    If that doesn’t work, add “modlook” to the tags section of this forum thread to let a staff member know you need assistance.
