mapped domain name now missing www – HELP!

We have redirected our domain name to wordpress but are now finding that the www version of our URL can’t be found as wordpress has striped off the www. This is a problem as all our publicity has [malware link removed] on it.
Is there anyway of getting wordpress to recognise the www version or getting our domain name provider, 123-reg to recognise the non www version?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

WordPress.COM does not use the WWW, but it should always redirect seamlessly to the non-WWW address.
You have something terribly wrong though as your www link above is somehow hijacked or is redirected to somewhere doing malware or something. That is only the second time my virus program has hit me with a warning in the last 4 years (I’m on Mac), so when it does, I take it seriously.

At your domain registrar, you should be able to set up a redirect to take all “WWW” traffic automatically to the non- WWW URL, but you first need to investigate and fix the issue with your WWW URL being reported as a malware site.
