mapped domain name to wordpress.com

  i am thinking of map my domain kerja.com to wordpress.com.
  is that means all my physical files will be hosted on a wordpress.com server ?
  pls advise

  Hi there,

  Do you currently have a site at kerja.com that’s hosted somewhere else? If you do, you will first need to transfer the content on that site to a WordPress.com site, before you connect your domain here.

  All that mapping does is control to which host your domain is pointing. It does not affect your content at a particular host in any way. So if you just map the domain here, your old site’s files will still be at the old host.
