Mapped domain & paid fee and then updated. Not working

  Hi All,

  bought a domain name from godaddy, updated the named servers, and then mapped the domain on wordpress, paying the $12 fee. Updated the primary domain to the one I have just mapped and it doesnt work?

  Takes me to godaddy site. What have I missed?

  You missed the part about it can take 24 to 72 hours for the changes to make it to the far corners of the internet. Usually some changes start in a few hours but it can take a while. You can check the progress at the link below.

  You did change the name-servers to point only to WordPress.COM? It looks like you left the Godaddy name-servers in place and just added the WordPress.COM name-servers, that will really mess things up.

  name servers not correct. I am sure I updated them…
