Mapped domain redirection

  I am interested in buying my own domain name but the one I want is not available through WordPress, so I am thinking of purchasing a domain name from GoDaddy and mapping it on WordPress.

  My question is will the mapped domain from GoDaddy automatically redirect from everydayconcepts.wordpress.com sites to the new domain which will end in .co.uk?

  Okay, I understand that bit. What I’m asking is if my current links (pages, links to other posts in blog posts) will automatically be redirected from my old address to my new after the mapping?
