Mapped domain to wordpress.com blog

  • Unknown's avatar

I have mapped my domain lucascobb.com to my wordpress.com blog lucascobb.wordpress.com and it works well in every browser “except” chrome. When I type in my domain, lucascobb.com and hit enter, Chrome automatically appends www to the beginning of my web address. I then see it get redirected to the non-www version (which is correctly mapped), but then displays the “redirect loop” error.

If I then hit enter again it will go to the non-www version and load my site. I have fully cleared my cache, etc. and still get this issue in Chrome. This is something that would affect all custom mapped domains on the network and am interested in any steps I can take to resolve this.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there, Lucas!

I am not seeing the same problem in Chrome. When I visit lucascobb.com, I am taken directly to your site, without www appending, or a redirect loop error.

Please tell me the status of the issue when you take a look at your site in Chrome now.

I see ENOM, Inc is your registrar:
    http://who.is/whois/lucascobb.com

In addition to lucascobb.com, have you also registered the www CNAME record with ENOM?

    Thanks very much.
