Mapping

  I have a domain name ex; Mydomain.com – no website
  My domain name in word press mydomain.wordpress.com – isn’t available

  I’m not sure what mapping it for $13.00 at wordpress.com means.

  What I’m hoping it means:
  -Mydomain.com will work the same as if it was mydomain.wordpress.com?
  – I can use any of the free stuff like templates
  – I don’t need to know web building stuff

  What I’m worried it means:
  – I have to buy hosting
  – It will be too technical
  – unlike a wordpress.com, it will be Limited and I will have to pay more to get it to look right.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Purchasing a domain name via a domain mapping upgrade does not include anything other than a domain and domain mapping to your blog. Everything else remains the same.

  thank you, i think i get it. Mapping means the blending of my domain to a wp blog.
