  can i get ftp access after a mapping my wordpress.com blog to my own domain ?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.com blogs for security reasons and we cannot:

  upload any third party themes,
  create child themes,
  create our own themes,
  edit templates,
  create own own layouts,
  or use stylesheets from other themes.

  There is no upgrade you can purchase that changes that. WordPress.org offers free software that you can install on a web server. You can create themes, upload and install themes and plugins, run ads, and edit the database, etc. Learn about the differences here. http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  Thank you hiimaustin that is what I thought but i deeply hoped for an escape from dealing with the all wp insrallation and staff…. So there is no way wordpress could be my host such as ivh and so on? Even if I upgrade to the premium account @99 $? Thanks again

  This is timethief logged in under my other username account. I have no objection at all to you backlinking to my copy and paste answers. I have hundreds of them as I have answered questions here for so long . I do however object to you copying and pasting my answers into forum threads as if they are your own. Please just backlink to my answers if you want to use them. Thanks.
