Mapping a Custom Domain

    Hi,
    I’ve created a free WordPress.com account and have already shared that link with some of our marketing materials. However, I want to create a WordPress.org site so that I can install custom themes and plugins. Is there a way to do so and still link the current free domain (the .wordpress.com) to a new, WordPress.org site that I create?

    No. You need to hire a web host, purchase a domain, set up a wordpress.ORG software install, and import your content into it .
