ok, but in the menu “Add New DNS Record” what I’ve to choose among “A, MX, Cname etc.”?
and then “points to” which nr.?Thx.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Since your domain is registered with aruba.it, you will log into their site to point your name servers. Here are the instructions on how to do that from their site.
http://support.aruba.it/KB/a2801/name-server-record-management.aspx?KBSearchID=4867159
It’s different than adding a DNS record so you won’t choose A, MX, Cname etc.

I fixed the problem of mapping the domain, now there’s a bigger one.
When I purchased the template your system made me choose bellaferra.wordpress.com instead of bestparty.wordpress.com (otherwise it didn’t worked).
Now, I’ve mapped it correctly, bestparty.it is online, but I realized I worked on the template ecc. associated to bellaferra.wordpress.com.
What should I do now?
your system caused me a wrong choice… -
The only site connected to the username sandrosandri, is bellaferra.wordpress.com. That’s the site your custom domain, thebestparty.it is connected to as well as the account you used to purchase your Premium theme.
If you also own the site https://bestparty.wordpress.com/ you own it under a separate username and email address.
Is that what you believe has happened?
-
now thebestparty.it is connected to https://bestparty.wordpress.com/ but I want it to be connected to https://bellaferra.wordpress.com where I bought the template and started to work…
What should I do? -

I looked at this again and your domain is pointing to a self hosted WordPress site, not the WordPress.com name servers.
If you need help getting your domain pointed to WordPress.com name servers, send the following message to the support team at your domain registrar. They can make the change for you
I would like to use my domain with a WordPress.com site. In order to do this, I need to point my domain’s name servers to the following:
NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
NS3.WORDPRESS.COM
I do not want to transfer my domain, but want to leave it registered with you. WordPress.com does not permit mapping by setting an A record to point to an IP address. They require the name servers to be updated as described.
Here is a link to your registrar’s support options

Aruba says that the NS fails because the Nic has this error :
<test name=”CNAMEHostTest” status=”FAILED”>
<detail name=”ns1.wordpress.com.” status=”SUCCEEDED”/>
<detail name=”ns3.wordpress.com.” status=”SUCCEEDED”/>
<detail name=”mx.thebestparty.it.” status=”FAILED” queryId=”7″>mx.thebestparty.it. is a CNAME</detail>
<detail name=”ns2.wordpress.com.” status=”SUCCEEDED”/>
</test>Aruba told me to contact WordPress to properly configurate the dns zone.
-
We do have the zone record configured, but there was also an extra mx record that was causing problems. Have them change the name servers again and you’ll be set.

Email forwarding is the easiest option. You can learn more about that here
https://en.support.wordpress.com/email-forwarding/
If you want a fully functional new email address, you can get email hosting and then connect it to your site. The instructions for that are here

how can I eliminate the writing “BLOG AT WORDPRESS.COM. | THE PUZZLE THEME” in the footer part?
thx -
The footer credit is required to be displayed according to our terms of service:
Note that even sites hosted through our VIP program, such as the TED blog, display a credit to WordPress.com in the footer. (See the bottom of http://blog.ted.com/ for an example)
-
it’s shown only in their blog page, in mine it’s shown in every page, that’s the point…
and then there’s also the link to the puzzle template, which is also absurd. -
We host the TED blog. We do not host every web page for TED.
If you do not want the footer credit shown, a self-hosted site running the free software at WordPress.org may be a better fit for you:

You’ll need to setup a hosting account and domain name with another provider and install the WordPress.org software there. You can then export your content from WordPress.com and use the WordPress importer to upload the content to your self-hosted site. Steps for this process can be found here:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#moving-to-wordpress-org
We also have a service that can do this process for you for a one time fee:
