Mapping a domain

  Hi there,

  Have registered a domain http://www.whatworksandwhy.ie. Trying to map my blog to it but getting an error each time. Whatworksandwhy.wordpress.com gives the following error ‘Sorry but whatworksandwhy.ie has not been registered yet therefore cannot be mapped.’ Occurs when I click Already own a domain – Map it – Add. Have reconfirmed domain is registered. I believe you may have to adjust country settings there for it to work? Thanks so much. Site due to launch 18/1 so becoming urgent!
