Mapping a domain

  I’m trying to map the domain I already own but when I get to the checkout screen when trying to upgrade my package so I don’t have to use the .wordpress.com address, it tells me that the domain is already registered …. Grrr. How do I need to go about registering just my domain name I purchased through godaddy to use as my site address?

  Hey there,

  It should say that the site is already registered because you own it. At the bottom, it should give you the option to map the domain. Let me know if you see that option.

  What is the name of the domain you are trying to add?

  Hey there,

  I checked and yes, you should be able to map it. You can go here, click on the site you want to add the domain to, type in grillingal.com as the domain you want to add, and you should see the option to map it at the bottom. It’s highlighted by a yellow strip.
