Mapping a domain
-
Hello! I understand that mapping a domain (that I have already registered) is a paid option at $13 a year.
My 1st question: Will only the domain name mapped to the root of my WP blog, or each address?
I mean for example I have an article at:
https://jeanfouche.wordpress.com/2016-05-01/article/If I try to use:
https://mymappeddomain.com/2016-05-01/article/Will it send the user to the article?
Second question: Is there a way to map ONE domain on TWO blogs (managed in the same WP account) with a subdomain?
For example
https://rus.mydomain.com to send to https://imfrakov.wordpress.com
and
https://fr.mydomain.com to send to https://jeanfouche.wordpress.com– with the same question that the 1st one above for the articles addresses.
Thank you!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Good Morning – Domain Mapping is going to allow you to use your domain that was purchased elsewhere, here at WordPress.com.
Once you change the name servers, your entire site is going to point at WordPress.com, not just selected articles.
Your domain will remain the same, and viewers will still see the same domain.

Hello!
Is this domain mapping option for $13 still available? When I try to do this on my wordpress site it shows only the upgrade to Premium. Do O do something wrong?
Greetings

lizkarkoski, thank you but you do not reply to my question about subdomains, and links for pages ;)
Anyway as Timethief says that domain mapping isn’t available at $13 anymore, that closes the topic for me, I will host my domain on a VPS with WP installed. More options, more control, and not more expensive ;)
