Mapping a domain

The administration page shows mapping an existing domain costs $13/year. Once clicking it, it always forces adding the premium plan $99/year and free domain mapping to the cart. I just need the $13 deal. Anyone knows how?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Howdy!

Can you contact us privately, and we’ll have a look? Please provide the domain you want to use, and which .wordpress.com site it should be on.

    Thanks!

The email is: help at wordpress.com

Funny thing is, all help entries on wordpress.com lead to posting on forums. Where is your PRIVATE support contact???

  • The contact form will only take you to the forums unless you have a paid upgrade. That is why Chris gave you the email address to allow you to contact us directly.

You can see the email address at the bottom of Chris’s reply. It is typed out in words instead of using the @ symbol because it would be automatically hidden otherwise.

Sorry but I misunderstood the last line Chris gave. I thought he directed me to look for email of help staff in wordpress.com. Thanks to “rootjosh” who has clearly answered my question that no more $13 domain mapping alone deal. WordPress now always requires a bundle with the premium plan.
