Mapping a Domain

    Hi,

I used other domain from another registrar. I already used a annual domain mapping plan ($13) last year and it worked perfectly and I did continue the services since June this year. However, in my Domains, I cannot see the registered domain and when I tried to input it, it requires me to register another upgraded plan ($35). Is it the way? Because last year I only needed to pay the price for the domain mapping. Please suggest. Thanks!

    Hello!

What is the domain you’re referring to?

Everything appears OK regarding the domain.

I’m tagging this post for the staff’s attention. I’m sure they can assist you with this.

I hope that helps, and let me know if you have any other questions!

    Thanks, joerepublic!

One short question, do we need an upgraded plan (outside domain mapping plan) to map our domain? Because last year, it worked normal without any upgraded plan.

    You’re welcome!

Yes, any upgraded plan comes with a free domain or mapping.

  • Hi there,

The domain mapping was removed from your site when you disputed the renewal payment by filing a chargeback against us. As you’ve paid the chargeback fee and the original payment was not refunded, I’ve restored the upgrade to your account so all should be working again now.

In answer to your second question, yes, now a plan is required for domain mapping. As you already own a domain mapping it doesn’t currently apply to you, but should you cancel your existing domain mapping upgrade or let it expire, you will need to purchase a plan to add a new one.
