Mapping a domain

    I am trying to map my blog to an existing domain. It says the charge is 13.00 per Year but but when I try to purchase it adds on premium plan at ninety nine dollars a year. How can I just get the mapping only

    Hi there,

    Currently, the domain mapping feature is included in paid plans. Therefore, you need to have a paid upgrade to map your existing domain to your site.

    If you wouldn’t like to upgrade to the Premium plan, I recommend you to upgrade to the Personal plan. However, please be aware that you need to purchase the plan first before trying to map your domain If you rather have the personal plan. If you try to map your domain before purchasing a paid plan, WordPress.com automatically leads you to upgrade to the Premium plan.

    Hi there,

    You’re seeing the $13 option because you already have a plan added to your cart at My Site ->Plans. If you remove that plan from your cart, you’ll only see the Upgrade option on the Domains page, rather than prices.

    We don’t sell domain mapping upgrades as stand-alone products. The first domain mapping can only be added as part of a paid plan. Once you have a plan you can add additional mapping upgrades at $13 each, as explained here:
