  • Unknown's avatar

Some weeks ago I wanted to map my domain but on the course of doing that I discovered some of the information that I filed in were not in order and as result I opted out. And now I would like to continue with the same domain name but it is being rejected what should I do now in order to continue

    Hi there,

the same domain name but it is being rejected

Can you please tell us more about more about this?
That will help us to answer.

I assume, If you’ve searched domain few days or months back during that time it was available and now it’s is unavailable that means someone else has already registered the domain. If it’s already registered by someone else you can’t get that domain, instead you can go with another extension or another domain name which is available.
    Does that answer your question?

    Hope this helps! Thanks!

    Hi @talkschristianity,

Wanted to tell you more about Plan, each plan comes with a “free domain credit” which you can either use to register a custom domain for free or Map the domain you already own for free, so if you wish to register a domain with WordPress.com you can buy any one of the Plans listed here: https://wordpress.com/pricing
So once you get the plan you’ll be able to register your domain with us through the free domain credit which you’ll be getting.

    Hope this helps! Thanks!

I went for domain mapping, I also selected premium plan, that was some weeks ago and somehow I opted out because of some information issues and now I want to continue to map my domain and I will still select premium plan but I am not allowed to so do. What should I do?

    Hi talkschristianity,

now I want to continue to map my domain and I will still select premium plan but I am not allowed to so do.

The account you are currently logged in to hasn’t created any sites on WordPress.com yet so it would be great to know:

    1. Which domain you would like to map.
    2. The address of the WordPress.com site you would like to map it to.

Just let me know and we can go from there.
