Mapping a domain with a special danish letter in it?

  Hi, Why can’t I map a valid danish domain just because it has the danish letter “Æ” in it? (www.tækstforfatter.dk)?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  We do not currently support Internationalized Domain Names (IDNs) at WordPress.com, which is what tækstforfatter.dk is. There are a number of shared hosts on which you can install WordPress.org and which allow IDNs without any difficulty.

  Just to for clarity, there is a small but important difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org: http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
