Mapping a domain without changing nameservers

We would like to map the web site (and just the web site) of a domain we own to WordPress. I checked out the process recommended by WordPress, but my registrar recommends a different approach. Rather than entirely change nameservers, we instead need to merely adjust the A records on our existing nameservers, which we can do on our end. The name of the domain we own is http://www.courageousleadership.com. The name of the existing blog the A records need to point to is courageousleadershipblog.wordpress.com. Can you make the appropriate adjustments on your end?

Sorry, but mapping a domain using A record isn’t possible on WordPress.com.
Note that you can set any custom A/CNAME/MX/… records after your domain has been mapped using the custom DNS tool:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/custom-dns/
Alternatively, you can map a subdomain using a CNAME record:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-subdomain/
