mapping a subdomain to WP site

  I want to use my own domain name which already has a site on it. However I do not want to move it over to WP nor do I want to map the entire domain name to the WP site. I want to have only a subdomain or director point to the new WP site. Like ‘Virtual.acg-glcc.org’ or ‘www.acg-glcc.org/virtual I could also use a redirect from the directory on that site to point to the WP site.

  Hi @butterflyparsleyoberon58113,

  To use a subdomain, you have to add a mapping subscription. If your custom domain is not registered or pointed to WordPress.com already, you’ll then have to configure DNS changes with the registrar or whoever manages its DNS settings.
