mapping a wordpress.com domeain to squarespace

    I am trying to complete the mapping of my domain name purchased through wordpress.com to a squarespace site. I have followed all of the instructions as outlined and have an issue. I added the CNAME and 4 A records to the DNS of the domain but the site still has the ‘un-editable’ A record and CNAME hosted by wordpress. This is causing my domain to sometimes take me to wordpress and sometimes to the new squarespace site. I never know which site will pull up. It seems to be a problem on the wordpress side. I have chatted with support at squarespace 3 times and they can not fix the issue. help! The domain is scottgrossenbacher.com
