Mapping an Existant Domain and Email

  I am attempting to move my website (conqueringlionpictures.com) that is hosted on GoDaddy to WordPress. I have read the great how to from the wrodpress support site but still a few questions.

  1) In mapping the domain onto wordpress, which website will come up when I enter the domain – the original GoDaddy or the new WordPress? Do I have to delete the GoDaddy?

  2) If I have emails attached to the GoDaddy Website, how do I make sure they stay active? Do they have to go down for a period of time? If so, whats the best way to manage that?
