Mapping an existing domain onto new blog
-
Hi,
I’ve purchased the domain mapping upgrade, and have tried to find any existing help as regards this, but was unsuccessful. I needed to map an existing domain (indiafoundation.in) onto my new wordpress blog (indiafoundation.wordpress.com).
Got in touch with the domain hosting people, and now if I type the domain into my browser, it only redirects to the blog URL, as opposed to hosting the blog on my original domain.
I’d be grateful for any help.
Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You need a zone record added for your domain name to map successfully – I have flagged this for the staff to add one for you – then you can finish the mapping using the instructions below

Hi there – to complete the mapping of indiafoundation.in to your WordPress.com site, you need to log into your domain registration control panel and update the name servers to:
ns1.wordpress.com
ns2.wordpress.com
ns3.wordpress.comPlease be sure to read our instructions on
mapping an existing domain, including the heads-up about how this might affect any existing email accounts you may have on that domain.Once you’ve completed the mapping, you can set indiafoundation.in as the primary domain for the site under Store > Domains, by following these instructions.
If you need further help, just let us know.

Thanks, kathrynwp!
I’ve corresponded with our domain provider for the login access and such.
This has cleared things up for me! Thanks again. :) -
