Mapping an existing domain to wordpress blog

  Hi, I’ve transferred my domain now and updated the nameservers to NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS3.WORDPRESS.COM
  I guess it will take a while until it all takes effect?
  I have deleted the dns changes, but on my wordpress account (under “my upgrades”), it says “the dns has to be updated”…

  I just checked and it looks like the nameservers for “jochenhung.de” have switched over to WordPress.com.

  All you need to do now is go to Store -> Domains from your site’s dashboard, click the button next to “jochenhung.de” and click the “update primary domain” button. Your site will now use your custom domain!

  Hi, thanks! It all works great. Just one final question: when I type “jochenhung.de” in my browser, the url switches to “jochenhung.wordpress.com” when I arrive at my page. Is that normal?

  Sorry, my bad! I wrote before I updated the primary domain (as you said I should)… it all works and looks perfect now.
