Mapping and 1&1

  Hi, i try to do a mapping with my blog and website, but i didn’t manage.
  Could you help me ?
  Thank you.
  PS: i had already read the map support page.

  I bought my domain on 1&1 (michaeljesus.com) and it’s unlock. Now i try with wordpress to do the mapping with DNS informations.

  Hi Michael,

  Currently, your domain’s name servers are as follows:
  Name Server: NS61.1AND1.FR
  Name Server: NS62.1AND1.FR

  You need to delete those and change them to these:
  NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS2.WORDPRESS.COM

  This will have to be done through your 1&1 account, so if you have any trouble with that step, please contact their support.

  Once you change the name servers, it can take some time for the changes to take effect, but feel free to reply here and I’ll check to make sure all is set up properly. :)

  Yes one more please, must I delete my account/domain on 1&1 and stay with wordpress? Or I need my 1&1 account for my website.

  Hi Michael,

  Your domain remains registered with 1&1, so you need to keep it there and make sure to renew it every year with them, as you did before. :)
