mapping and then transferring

  Hi! I registered a domain with Godaddy and it’s too new to transfer to WordPress.. So if I ‘map’ it over for now and then transfer when I’m allowed, will the [ .wordpress.com] be removed when it’s transferred?

  Hi there!

  If you map a custom domain, it will become your site’s address. Nobody will see the .wordpress.com extension anymore. Here are full instructions on how to map a custom domain:
