Mapping bought domain to a different site (and turning off auto renew)
-
Hi there,
So I bought a domain for my wordpress blog a while back – http://www.overlandnomad.com. Now, however, I have decided to start again by launching a new blog at notesontravel.wordpress.com. I’d like to redirect http://www.overlandnomad.com from overlandnomad.wordpress.com to notesontravel.wordpress.com, and also turn off auto-renew so that when my year of owning this domain ends I don’t have to pay again.
Many thanks for your help!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Steven,
I took care of this domain migration for you.
You can see your domain upgrade to notesontravel.wordpress.com here:
https://notesontravel.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=my-upgradesAuto-renew is not currently enabled, as you can see.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions. Cheers!

Great, many thanks for this. If I buy another url before overlandnomad.com expires, can they both redirect to notesontravel.wordpress.com?

Hi stevesayskanpai,
That shouldn’t be a problem at all. You can point as many domains as you wish at a blog, as long as you purchase a domain mapping upgrade for each domain.

What Valentine said! :)
You sure can have multiple domains. You will simply choose which URL will be primary, and that will be the domain viewed by all your visitors when they come to your site.
If you have any other questions, please let us know! Thanks much.
